Our big guy is growing so fast! Overall, he is a happy and smiley baby, as long as someone is paying attention to him :)
Here are some of the things Conrad is doing at 4 months:
-loves to "talk" to you
-reaching for and grabbing his toys
-rolling from tummy to back and almost from back to tummy (if he could just figure out how to move that arm!)
-taking thickened breastmilk by bottle every 2 hours during the day and sleeping all night!
-outgrowing his 3-6 month clothes and size 2 diapers quickly.
-like to suck and chew on his fingers and grab his toes
-gets scared very easily by loud noises and even peekaboo :)
-sits up with help from Mommy or the boppy
-prefers to stand and starting to like bouncing in the jumparoo...big boy!
-drools nonstop
-figured out how to scream (happily)

This pretty much sums up what he deals with daily...dog licking him, big brother driving cars on him.  No wonder he barely naps! :)

3 Months

I'm not sure what happened to Conrad's 3 month post...I could have swore I had one started, but I guess not :(  Maybe the end of my maternity leave had me temporarily crazy ;)  At least I didn't forget the pictures, so here are those....

Preschool

Wyatt's first day of preschool. A day I have been dreading pretty much since he was born! We have been lucky enough to not have to leave him with anyone but family until now. The only thing that got me to actually drop him off and leave was knowing that school is going to be really good for him in the long run. He needs to spend some time with other kids and learn to follow some rules :). He cried and tried to run out of the classroom after me when We dropped him off. Saddest thing ever :(. He even got tearful again when I picked him up and said "mommy, I was trying to find you". Hopefully he learns to love it. Otherwise, he might be staying home with his mama forever ;-)

Brother fun

Conrad loves watching his big brother! He thinks he is so funny! I can tell that it is only a matter of time before he is joining in the craziness!!

Vacation

We spent the second week of August lounging in the Florida sun ( in between the rain showers).  It was a nice break for Mommy to have so many helpers on hand!  Wyatt loves playing with his cousins and they can keep him entertained for hours!  He loved swimming in the pool this year with his puddle jumper on and even enjoyed some swimming in the ocean waves and building sandcastles on the beach...such a big difference from last year when he wouldn't even walk in the sand.  Conrad spent a little time at the beach and got lots of cuddle time with Nanny, Pops, Uncle Casey, Aunt, and cousins.  We fed alligators, played putt-putt golf, ate tons of food, played games, saw fireworks over the ocean bay, saw dolphins swimming in the ocean, and overall had a great week.
Of course I made everyone head out to the beach one evening for pictures...

2 months

What Conrad is up to at 2 months (August 12)
-full of smiles and coos especially after he eats :)
-taking breast milk by bottle now- thickened because of swallowing issues :(. Still only had breast milk and mommy is working hard to make sure that continues!
-eats every 2-3 hours during the day and starting to have long stretches at night :)
-loves to sit in his bouncy seat and smile at his "friends" on the toy bar. This lasts for about 20 minutes then he is ready to be picked up!
-not a big fan of tummy time yet
-loves his brother! Watches him all the time and gives him the biggest smiles

Birthday

Wyatt had a "ball" sports themed 3rd birthday party.  It was a fun day filled with family and friends at our house celebrating our little man!  Like any good party, there was pizza, plenty of sweets (cupcakes, cakes, cake pops), swimming in his clothes in the backyard baby pool, and tons of gifts!  It also happened to be Nanny's big 50th birthday, and Conrad's big debut, so there was lots to celebrate!

My first attempt at cake pops.  Luckily, 3-year-olds only care if they taste good (and they did)!

3 years

Wyatt turned 3 on July 10! Hard to believe how big he is!

Weight: 33.5 pounds (66%)
Height: 39 inches (81%)

Things that Wyatt is up to now:
-loves to play outside! Rides a bike, throws rocks in the pond, plays golf or any kind of ball, swims with his puddle jumper, swings on big boy swing, plays in sand box, runs, jumps, and acts like a wild man :)
-counts to 20 (usually skipping 15)
-knows abc's, shapes and colors
-loves to play music with his guitar, drums, and microphone :)
-plays any kind of video game...iPod, iPad, iPhone, PS3, Wii, he loves them all. Yikes!
-wears size 3-4T and size 9.5 shoes
-favorite shows:  Caillou, Blue's Clues, Yo Gabba Gabba
-favorite color is blue
-favorite food is chicken, fruit especially bananas and strawberries, and candy!
