21 week Belly

Here is my belly shot at 21 weeks. I think you may actually be able to tell I am pregnant finally :)

We also found and purchased our bedding set today and got the paint to get started on the nursery. The room is finally cleaned out and ready to get started! Our crib has been ordered and should be here in a few weeks! I can't wait to see it all together.

First Baby Purchases...and a surprise :)

So, we did a little shopping on Friday after the ultrasound and made our first official baby purchases. We could have bought a lot more, but we tried to keep it to a minimum for now :) Here are some photos (I promise I won't post a picture of every outfit we buy...although that may be difficult for me...)

We also picked out and ordered the dresser for the nursery. We plan to use it for the changing table as well. It won't be here for 12-16 weeks though, yikes! So, we are looking other places for a matching crib, trying to get it sooner.

Now, on to finding some boy bedding that I am satisfied with...and a stroller, carseat, pack-n-play......

And the surprise I got on Monday...Derek sent me the cutest flowers! Makes me ready for spring!!

It's a BOY!!

I had my 20 week ultrasound on Friday, Feb 20. Bmac was not being very cooperative. He had his head nuzzled down toward my pelvis and did not want to move it to allow the tech to get the proper measurements. After a lot of nudging, he finally moved...then he wouldn't stop :) He kept arching his head and we saw him open and close his mouth...I think he was mad about all the poking! Once all the measurements were taken, we wanted to find out the sex. Once again, he was being difficult with his little legs all curled up under him. More poking and he finally spread them, and even I could tell that Bmac is a boy!!

The doctor says that he is measuring right on track, keeping my due date at July 10. His heartbeat was good at 149 and all the organs looked good. I gained one more pound and they assured me I will be popping out of my clothes very soon :) Here are some pics (keep in mind that he was moving alot so we didn't get the best shots)...
